The exclusive distributor of MG cars in the United Arab Emirates, Inter Emirates Motors has launched the all-new MG 7 sedan in the UAE. Adding to the Chinese brand’s versatile line-up of vehicles is the MG 7 which features a striking aerodynamic design, advanced technology, and a choice of turbocharged engines; with prices starting at a reasonable AED 77,777.

Amidst the picturesque views of the DFC’s outdoor venue, officials of MG Middle East and Inter Emirates Motors took the covers off the all-new MG 7, the Chinese automaker’s first-ever premium sedan. The MG 7 seems poised to take on the mid-size market in style with its aerodynamic silhouette and sculpted bodywork. Higher variants also feature red brake calipers,19-inch wheels and a very fancy, active retractable tail fin to enhance its dynamic outlook
Interior: Sport seats, large displays and a 9-spkr Bose system
The sporty theme continues inside with “Storm Eye integrated motorsport seats” with the top trim model featuring “luxury silk Napa leather, microfibre suede, and European textured piping” for an extra dash of chic. Depending on the trim, drivers can enjoy features like a “speed dial” and super sport mode button conveniently located on the steering wheel. Its standard 10.25-inch front screen complemented by a 12.3-inch infotainment display helps the car keep with the digital requirements of the times while the top-tier model comes equipped with a premium 9-speaker Bose sound system as well.
Powertrain & trims: Turbo 1.5L w/ 7-spd DCT or turbo 2.0L w/ 9-spd auto
The base engine option is a turbocharged 1.5-litre motor featuring a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, which puts out 186 hp. The base STD trim, it is equipped with a PVC foaming steering wheel and rear camera, while the DEL trim gets a leather steering wheel, 360-degree camera and a panoramic sunroof, adjustable via the smart key. For those who require more oomph, there is also a turbocharged 2.0-litre variant which comes with a 9-speed automatic transmission, that puts out 258 horses. The 2.0L’s base COM variant features a leather steering wheel, and a rear camera amongst other features, while the top spec G.DEL offers a premium “Napa” leather steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, an electric tailgate and a 360-degree camera.
Several advanced driver-assistance systems are also available, like Front Collision Warning, Emergency Lane Keep System, and Adaptive Cruise Control, depending on the model.
Pricing & Warranty: Starts at AED 77,777; 6-year/200,000 km warranty
The all-new MG 7 is now available at all Inter Emirates Motors showrooms across the United Arab Emirates and aftersales support will be available at all four of IEM’s service centres. Prices start from AED 77,777 (excl. VAT) for the 1.5L turbo and AED 107,000 (excl. VAT) for the 2.0L turbo, and includes a 6-year/200,000 km manufacturer’s warranty.
