airBaltic Announces New Routes And Increased Flights For Winter

The airline is also extending some routes into the winter season.

Latvian airline airBaltic has planned a busier winter, with increased flights and new routes from all three Baltic states. The new routes include Riga to Faro (Portugal), Tallinn (Estonia) to Madeira (Portugal), and Gran Canaria (Spain) to Ljubljana (Slovenia). The one from the airline’s home hub goes live on September 6, 2025; the Spain-Slovenia link joins the network on October 25, 2025, and the Tallinn-Madeira route takes to the skies on October 26, 2025.

All three new routes will operate once a week, with fares for the Riga-Faro route starting at EUR 129. One-way ticket prices for the Gran Canaria-Ljubljana connection begin at EUR 149, whereas those for the Tallinn-Madeira route are EUR 189.

airBaltic also plans to upwardly revise flight frequencies this winter. The airline will operate more flights to Amsterdam from all three Baltic capitals: 19 weekly services from Riga and 14 weekly flights from Vilnius and Tallinn. Moreover, airBaltic will increase the weekly flight count on the Riga-Dubai route with daily flights and double the weekly services to four between Dubai and Vilnius.

The carrier has also decided to extend some summer routes into the upcoming winter season, such as flights from Riga to Pisa and Porto (through November) and starting the Riga-Catania route earlier in March 2026. Also, in addition to resuming flights to Dublin (Ireland) from Riga with two weekly services, airBaltic will increase the weekly flight frequencies to three from Riga to El-Sheikh (Egypt) and Hurghada (Egypt).

Throughout the winter season, airBaltic also promises an expanded selection of flights to much-sought-after skiing destinations, including Innsbruck (Austria), Salzburg (Austria), Geneva (Switzerland), Verona (Italy), and Kittilä (Finland).
