In their own words, below.

“’Mavericks of Time’ is a new concept that celebrates independent watchmakers who are masters of their craft, design, and technology driving today’s high-end horology. With this first-of-its-kind concept, we curated an immersive environment where visitors had the opportunity to interact with brands in a dynamic, hands-on manner, transcending luxury experiences in the capital Abu Dhabi.”Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi, CEO, Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons.

By partnering with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, we are pleased to offer an extraordinary platform for Swiss watchmakers to showcase their artistry and vision. With this event, we have further solidified Abu Dhabi’s status as a leading destination for luxury and innovation.” – Noura Al Foulathi, Head of Abu Dhabi Retail, Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO).

Our Thoughts

The ‘Mavericks of Time’ exhibition demonstrates that Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons is at the forefront of horology in the Middle East. Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons also founded Dubai Watch Week (DWW) in 2015. The Middle East is among the most important watch markets in the world, both for local and international customers, and such events keep audiences engaged. It provides opportunities for customers to engage directly with watch brands and watchmakers. In turn, it is an excellent opportunity for watch brands to understand firsthand the tastes, preferences, and dynamics of the Middle East luxury watch market. ‘Mavericks of Time’ has a bright future in the Middle East, and we wish them all the best.
