AGMC and BMW Motorrad unveiled state-of-the-art motorbikes at Intersec 2024

AGMC, the official importer of BMW Group vehicles for Dubai, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates, showcased the latest generation of BMW Authority and Protection vehicles at the 25th edition of Intersec 2024 with a range of BMW Motorrad products.

Intersec 2024, is the world’s leading trade fair for safety, security, and fire protection. With over 1,000 exhibitors across cutting-edge innovations from industry frontrunners held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The event was scheduled from January 16 to 18, 2024, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, where attendees had the chance to explore state-of-the-art security solutions and engage with experts, government officials, and companies to discover the future of security.

AGMC, the official importer of BMW Group Vehicles was also present at the event showcasing BMW Motorrad’s deployment vehicles from Authority and Protection vehicles division – demonstrating their Products excellence in safety and security through their specialized motorcycles.

BMW Motorrad’s star line present at the event were – F 900 GS-P, R 1250 RT-P, the R 18 B Concept, and the electric BMW CE 04-P, these models are designed with advance safety and performance features to cater the diverse needs and requirement for security solutions.

 BMW F 900 GS-P

A light weigh 900cc parallel twin Enduro Motorcycle producing 103 hp at 8500 rpm and 93Nm of torque at 6750 rpm – BMW calls it a milestone in terms of weight optimisation and vehicle design for its lightweight plastic tank which weighs 62% less than a steel tank, yet holds a full 14.5 litres.

Combine this with its robust Frame and go anywhere capabilities it’s a perfect choice for a deployment vehicle with added features from BMW’s Authority and Protection vehicles department.

BMW R 1250 RT-P

An Allrounder Tourer that can serve the police authority on the Motorways and in the city, powered by a BMW boxer engine that offers both efficiency and performance.

BMW R 1250 RT –P is powered by a Two-cylinder 1.2-liter boxer engine producing 136 hp at 7700rpm and 143 Nm of Torque at 6250 Rpm, capable of going over 190kph, The R 1250 RT-P is tailored for comfort, safety, and maneuverability and also offers numerous equipment options for specific requirements.

The BMW R 18 B Concept

BMW R18 B is a strikingly gorgeous bobber motorcycle which according to BMW Motorrad embodies raw power and the touring legacy of BMW Motorrad.

A typical Bagger styled motorcycle belonging from the R18 family that features a 1800cc boxer engine producing 91 hp at 4100 rpm and 150Nm of torque at 4000 rpm.

The BMW CE 04-P

Its 2024 and to not expect an electric vehicle during these events is probably not wise –so, BMW Motorrad also showcased an electric model – a scooter to be specific which according to BMW sets new standards in urban mobility.

The BMW CE 04-P delivers a max output of 31 kW (42 hp), which assists the scooter to accelerates from 0 to 50 km/h in 2.6 seconds. With its swift acceleration and nimble characteristics, it’s an ideal choice for Urban Traffic, while boasting a range of 130km.
