Finnair Announces Summer Flights To Six Nordic Destinations
In summer, the Nordic region becomes a popular holiday destination for European and Asian travellers. Finnair has announced flights to six Nordic destinations to fulfil the demand. These will operate between June and August 2024.
The list includes two Norwegian towns – Trondheim and Bodø. For the former, Finnair will operate ten weekly flights between June and the end of August. Restoring flights to Bodø, located above the Arctic Circle in the Northern part of the country, the carrier will fly five times weekly between June 17 and August 2.
Next are additional services to three domestic destinations – Kuusamo, Ivalo and Kittilä – all located in Northern Finland. Touted as Finnish Lapland, the airline is the only one that serves these locations all year round.
Last, but by no means least, Finnair will fly to Visby in Gotland, Sweden. Five weekly flights will be offered to the medieval city, also part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site list, from June-end to early August.
Earlier this week, Finnair also announced flights to Tartu.
