UAE, Your Wait For The New Grand Cherokee L Is Over

It was in June last year when Jeep first unveiled the new Grand Cherokee L to the world. Now, the famed SUV is up for grabs in the UAE. Besides offering tons of space for living and non-living things, the three-row people mover has a lengthy list of creature comforts. Prices? They start at AED 204,900.

The new Jeep Grand Cherokee L is available in four trim levels – Laredo, Altitude, Limited and Summit Reserve. And there are two engine options – a 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 and a 5.7-litre Hemi V8. The former offers up to 293hp/352Nm and is available in all trim levels. However, if your heart is set for eight cylinders, the only option is to book the Summit Reserve. The larger motor produces up to 357hp/528Nm and comes with cylinder deactivation tech, which shuts off half the cylinders. That happens on lighter loads and helps gain a respectable mileage figure.

As mentioned above, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee L comes loaded with features. Depending on which trim level one settles for, the list includes 16-way power-adjustable front seats with memory function, quad-zone automatic climate control and ambient lighting. Other features include a 10.1-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a dedicated screen for the front passenger, a 19-speaker McIntosh sound system, a head-up display and wireless mobile charging.

Jeep says that bolstering the safety and security sections are over 110 features. The SUV packs stuff like a surround-view camera, Intersection Collision Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Drowsy Driver Detection and adaptive cruise control with stop and go.

There are multiple monotone colour options available for the SUV. However, the choice of dual-tone finishes is exclusive to the V8 models.
