The Lacoste Slam Break is the brand’s newest tennis-led sneaker. Lacoste treats it as the line’s hero, not a side project. It follows the limited Slam Break Premium, which launched alongside tennis player Arthur Fils. Lacoste has spent more than ninety years tying sport to style, and over sixty of those in footwear. As a result, the archive it draws on runs deep. The house has not simply reissued an old model, though. Instead, it has taken the lines, graphics and codes of the court and reworked them for the street.
How many versions of the men’s Slam Break are there?
Two, and they read very differently. The leather version is the precise one. A clean leather-and-suede upper carries perforated detailing and a mesh tongue with a branded pull tab. An embroidered crocodile sits on the centre panel. Its hero colourway keeps to creams and whites, then drops a flash of green along the sole. It is a court reference that never shouts.
The textile version takes the looser route. Here, a ripstop mesh upper meets metal eyelets and suede overlays, which gives the shoe a softer, more tactile feel. Its hero colourway pairs off-white and beige with a rich chocolate brown. The result walks the line between retro and modern without tipping into costume.

What technology sits inside the Lacoste Slam Break?
Underneath the heritage detailing, the Lacoste Slam Break works harder than it looks. A stretch lining sits close to the foot and holds it in place. Below that, Lacoste’s A.D.S. (Absorption de Shock) foam shapes the midsole compound. The brand first developed the technology for its performance tennis models in the 2000s, including the Repel. It keeps the shoe light and stable all day. A TPU heel counter then locks the rearfoot down, which is more structure than most lifestyle sneakers bother with. A high-grip rubber outsole finishes the job.
The material list backs that up. Lacoste builds the men’s leather version around a 63 per cent leather and 20 per cent suede upper. The textile version instead leads with 56 per cent recycled polyester, then works leather and suede in behind it. Both use a full recycled polyester lining.

Which colourways does the men’s Slam Break come in?
Seven on the official website, split across the two builds. The leather version runs in white with off-white, off-black with black, and white with dark blue. Meanwhile, the textile version adds off-white with dark brown, light khaki, light grey, and navy with dark blue. Every option stays tonal and quiet, so the men’s palette leans neutral rather than loud. Lacoste does list brighter shades elsewhere in the Slam Break line, including pinks and pastels, but the men’s range holds its nerve. Regional line-ups often differ, and the local range may well run shorter.
Where can you buy the Lacoste Slam Break?
Both men’s builds sit at USD 130 on the brand’s official website. Lacoste has not opened the Slam Break to UAE buyers yet, though. However, the launch reads as a global rollout rather than a market-specific release, so the collection should reach the region in time. The house runs nine stores across the UAE alongside its regional site, and that is where the local listing and pricing will surface.
