FIAT Boosts Its Micromobility Range With New Topolino Models, New Applications Of TRIS, and Multiplina Concept Car Study

FIAT has introduced its new range of micromobility vehicles as part of the company’s micromobility strategy.

FIAT has announced its new micromobility strategy during an event in Rome, where it showcased new models of the fully electric Topolino, new applications of its TRIS three-wheeled model, and its new car study, the Multiplina Concept, which is based on the 1956 Fiat 600 Multipla. These vehicles, together, form the company’s response to future demands for personal and commercial mobility solutions.

How does FIAT expand its Topolino range?

Topolino remains the first product in FIAT’s micromobility range and continues to be a small, fully electric quadricycle for cities. In particular, according to the company, the model became the best-selling electric quadricycle in Europe in 2025, with orders growing by about 30 percent in the second quarter of 2026 compared with the corresponding period last year.

Moreover, the company has launched new versions of the Topolino, including Corallo colour, Dolcevita body, Topolino Sport, and Topolino Vilebrequin Collector’s Edition. All these models offer customers only various design options, leaving the car’s functionality unchanged.

What accessories and partnerships does FIAT have for the Topolino?

FIAT has partnered with audio equipment manufacturer Monster and has offered an accessory for the Topolino: the Monsterlino Bluetooth speaker. This accessory comes in the form of two removable speakers that connect magnetically to the vehicle during travel and also allow connecting a smartphone in other situations.

This accessory does not change any vehicle features.

What are the innovations that FIAT has introduced with respect to the TRIS three-wheeler?

FIAT has also unveiled new uses for TRIS, a three-wheel commercial vehicle designed for last-mile transportation. As a global product, the TRIS is expected to be used by commercial customers in need of compact cargo transportation in urban centres.

In addition to being used as a commercial vehicle, the company has introduced the concept of TRIS Dolcevita to explore the vehicle’s use in other sectors, such as hospitality and leisure, rather than being confined to cargo transportation.

FIAT has also entered into a partnership with Caffè Vergnano to introduce new concepts in coffee retailing based on the use of the TRIS vehicle. The project will help the company expand its café network across Europe.

Multiplina Concept

The Multiplina Concept represents FIAT’s prototype of what the future of micromobility could look like. Inspired by the 1956 Fiat 600 Multipla, this concept car is meant to serve as an intermediary between quadricycles like the Topolino and regular passenger cars.

FIAT representatives describe the Multiplina Concept as a car with a compact exterior and a roomy interior, developed with an emphasis on practical use in cities. This is currently the concept car, and no release information has been provided yet.

Does it relate to FIAT’s micromobility strategy?

The recent announcements of FIAT show how the Topolino, TRIS, and Multiplina Concept complement each other in satisfying the different transportation needs. The first two models were created for personal and commercial use, respectively, and the Multiplina Concept is an experimental model for the future.

Furthermore, the corporation also works to expand its ecosystem through collaborations and accessories for its micromobility fleet, rather than developing any novel vehicle category.

Pricing, availability, and launch

Currently, FIAT has not released any pricing information for its latest additions, such as Topolino variants, the Monsterlino accessory, the TRIS Dolcevita Concept car, or cars from its collaboration with Caffè Vergnano. Moreover, there is no official information on the production schedule or launch of the Multiplina Concept car, as it is just a concept model at the moment.
