Eberhard & Co. unveiled two new models during Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026. They include the Scafograf 200 MCMLIX (top left) and the Tazio Nuvolari (top right). We look at both models.
Scafograf 200 MCMLIX
The Scafograf 200 MCMLIX is inspired by a 1959 model from Eberhard & Co. A three-hand watch, it is a tribute to the brand’s underwater or diving heritage.
“The underwater heritage of the Scafograf runs deep in the history of the collection, dating back to 1959 when, as the story goes, Maurice Eberhard would take his young nephew to the shores of Lake Neuchâtel to personally test the resilience of the first Scafograf 100—immersing it in the water himself before submitting it to the official trials that would certify its performance.”

Dial: The model is available in four dial versions: a) Matte black dial with an argenté outer minute track with circular satin-finishing and a black ceramic bezel. b) Matte black dégradé or fumé dial with a black bezel. c) Matte blue dial with an argenté outer minute track with circular satin-finishing and a blue ceramic bezel. d) Matte blue dégradé or fumé dial with a blue bezel. The applied and polished hour-markers – both the round and triangular indices – and the polished hour (with a triangular tip), baton-shaped minute and the lollipop seconds hand are coated with vintage luminescent material.
Case: The case is made from steel, satin-finished and polished. It measures 39 mm (diameter) * 12.30 mm (thickness). Lug width: 19 mm. Dial side features a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inside. Caseback is made from steel and is screwed to the main case. Water resistant up to 200 metres. Helium release valve at 9 o’clock.

Strap / Bracelet: The watch is available with either a) a water repellent leather strap with a vintage look, fitted to a steel buckle. A DÉCLIC® deployant clasp is an option. b) A steel bracelet with a woven mesh pattern “Milanese” style fitted with a 2CLICK® (two-pushbutton) deployant clasp. c) Chassis® steel bracelet, satin-finished and polished fitted with a 2CLICK® (two-pushbutton) deployant clasp.
Movement: The watch is powered by an automatic movement featuring a Glucydur balance wheel that drives the central hours, minutes, and seconds. Winding and time-setting via the steel screw-in crown at 3 o’clock.

Tazio Nuvolari
The Tazio Nuvolari is a two-register vertical layout chronograph that celebrates Tazio Nuvolari, a renowned Italian motorsport personality.
“A legendary figure in motorsport, Tazio Nuvolari (1892–1953), though distant in time, remains a vivid and contemporary presence for Eberhard & Co. Celebrating him, since the collection’s launch in 1992, is not an exercise in nostalgia. For the Maison, Nuvolari is not an abstract figure, but the embodiment of human talent, courage, challenge and self-transcendence. A lover of the impossible, Nuvolari was far from a conventional champion: he combined audacity and determination with masterful control of the vehicles he drove to victory, alongside a magnetic and charismatic personality and a strong sense of style.”

Dial: The model is available in two dial versions: a) Black dial with black 30-minute and 12-hour counters with an azure finish. b) Black dial with 30-minute and 12-hour counters in “delicate white coquille d’oeuf with azuré finishing.” Both dial versions feature a Clous de Paris pattern, “a three-dimensional texture of pyramid-shaped reliefs that lends depth and dynamism to the surface.” The Arabic numerals, baton-shaped hour and minute hands, and syringe-shaped counter hands are coated with vintage luminescent material.
Case: The case is made from steel, measuring 40 mm (diameter) * 13.10 (thickness, closed caseback version) and 14.20 mm (Gold Car Collection, transparent caseback version). Lug width: 20 mm. Dial side features a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Water resistant up to 50 metres.
Strap / Bracelet: The watch is available with either a a) black alligator leather or grey suede-effect fabric strap, both with contrasting stitching fitted to a steel buckle. A DÉCLIC® deployant clasp is an option. b) A steel Charme bracelet fitted with a 2CLICK® (two-pushbutton) deployant clasp.

Movement: It is powered by an automatic chronograph movement that drives the central hours, minutes and chronograph functions: central seconds, 30-minute counter (9 o’clock) and 12-hour counter (6 o’clock). Winding and time setting via steel screw-in crown at 3 o’clock. Pusher at 2 o’clock to start/stop the chronograph and at 4 o’clock to reset the chronograph. The movement comprises 25 jewels.

What do we think?
I was fortunate to handle the Scafograf 200 MCMLIX, Tazio Nuvolari and other models at Eberhard & Co.’s impressive booth during Watches and Wonders Geneva held just over two months ago. What struck me most about the brand (both in reading about them and during my visit at their booth) is that they actively seek out their historic and vintage watches for their museum (located in La Chaux-de-Fonds). Several of them were on display at their booth in a time-line format.

Having a rich heritage allows them to create historically inspired watches that are modern in every measure (materials, sizes, movements, straps and bracelets among others). Such continuity can be quite appealing and comforting to customers, especially to a new (and often younger) global audience trying to make sense of a marketplace crowded with numerous watch brands.
The Scafograf 200 MCMLIX is a serious divers watch, one with 200 metres water resistance, a helium escape valve, and vintage accents directly inspired by the brand’s 1959 model. The Tazio Nuvolari is an automotive inspired watch with vintage references, paying tribute to its namesake renowned Italian motorsport personality. Both are charming and appealing in their own way.
