What has opened on the Red Sea?
A new luxury address has arrived on the Red Sea. On June 15, 2026, Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay welcomed its first guests. Known in short as Four Seasons AMAALA, the resort is the debut property at AMAALA, the wellness-focused destination that Red Sea Global (RSG) is building on Saudi Arabia’s north-western coast.
The opening also carries weight beyond a single hotel. RSG describes AMAALA as its second flagship destination, after The Red Sea. Moreover, the developer cites on-time delivery as proof that luxury and responsible development can coexist comfortably. Group CEO John Pagano framed the launch as the first chapter of a longer story.

Where is Four Seasons AMAALA?
Four Seasons AMAALA sits where the mountains of the Tabuk region meet the sea. Specifically, it occupies the Triple Bay community, the most developed quarter of the wider AMAALA destination. From here, guests look out over the calm, clear waters of the Red Sea. As a result, the resort serves as both a retreat in its own right and the gateway to everything else taking shape at AMAALA.

What can guests expect?
The mood is unhurried luxury, designed for families and wellness travellers alike. Dubai-based architects U+A shaped the property around light, water and open air. Consequently, the experience flows easily between rest, dining and the shoreline.
The essentials at a glance:
- Rooms: 202 rooms, suites and garden villas, each facing the sea.
- Villas: 26 private residential villas, from 552 to over 1,000 square metres, each with its own pool.
- Wellness: the 2,095-square-metre HYLIAA Wellness & Spa, named for an Arabic word for elegant beauty, plus a 511-square-metre fitness area. Programmes draw on three themes — sky, land and sea — across one-, two- and three-day journeys. Expect starlight yoga, sound healing, night hikes, Islamic poetry readings and guided stargazing.
- Dining: six open-air venues in all. Open now are the Middle Eastern coastal restaurant MAA Social, the OAASIS Lounge and the ALMAA Pool & Bar. Three more follow later in 2026, including the ROCK BAAR on a promontory over Dumega Bay.
- Family time: five pools, a 900-metre beach, a supervised Kids for All Seasons programme and a dedicated teen club.
- Gatherings: 1,000 square metres of flexible space for retreats, weddings and corporate events.
Beyond the resort, the Triple Bay community opens up further. Guests can tour the Corallium Marine Life Institute, designed by Foster + Partners, or spend time at the AMAALA Yacht Club and the marina village’s shops and restaurants.

How does the resort approach sustainability?
Luxury here comes without the usual footprint. The resort runs entirely on renewable energy, and zero-waste systems support its day-to-day operations. In addition, RSG built the property on regenerative principles, which aim to leave the surrounding environment stronger than before. Guests can also take part through the Four Seasons for Good programme, which invites them to join local conservation and community projects. The result is a stay that treads lightly on a fragile coast.

What does the opening mean for AMAALA and Saudi Arabia?
This first resort sets the tone for much more to come. Additionally, through 2026, nine resorts will open at AMAALA, collectively offering more than 1,600 rooms. Each will carry its own wellness and spa facilities, alongside fine dining, high-end retail, the marina, and the Corallium Marine Life Institute. Moreover, the momentum feeds a national ambition, too. In fact, AMAALA forms part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, the plan to broaden the economy and grow tourism. In that sense, the opening marks an early, tangible step towards a much larger goal.

Who operates Four Seasons AMAALA?
Red Sea Global develops and owns the destination. A Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, RSG works across tourism, residential, infrastructure, transport and more. It opened The Red Sea in 2023 and Thuwal Private Retreat in 2024, and it is now upgrading Al Wajh Airport with a new international terminal.
Meanwhile, Four Seasons runs the resort day-to-day. The brand currently operates 136 properties across 47 countries, and Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay now joins that collection. The opening also deepens Four Seasons’ presence on Saudi Arabia’s coast. It sits alongside Four Seasons Resort Red Sea at Shura Island, with further resorts planned at NEOM’s Sindalah Island and in the city of Jeddah.
