What is the News?
Ducati India has officially launched its rare limited edition Panigale V4 Lamborghini, with the first unit of its Revuelto-inspired flagship superbike already reaching the shores of Mumbai.
What is the Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini, and why is it such a big deal?
The Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini is a limited special edition Italian superbike that brings together Ducati’s Panigale V4 S platform and Lamborghini Revuelto-inspired design cues in one ultra-exclusive package.
It is Ducati’s third collaboration with Lamborghini after the Diavel 1260 Lamborghini and the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini. For the Panigale V4, Lamborghini Ducati has taken heavy inspiration from the Lamborghini Revuelto Ad Personam, reworking body panels, winglets, wheel design, and colour treatment, directly linking the superbike to Lamborghini, rather than being a mere badge engineering exercise.
How different is it from the regular Panigale V4?
While the Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini is based on the Panigale V4 S platform, it maintains a strong, unique identity within the Panigale family. Far from being a standard Panigale V4 S, the Lamborghini edition wears a custom Lamborghini Ad persona colour scheme and features various unique components, many of them focused on reducing weight, sharpening visual drama, and strengthening the connection to Lamborghini’s design language.
One of the biggest highlights is the widespread use of carbon fibre, covering bodywork such as heat shield, heel guards, front and rear mudguards, winglets, dashboard cover, tank cover, swingarm covers, exhaust protection, and several other elements, all finished in visible carbon fibre with the same twill weave used in Lamborghini supercars.
What mechanical hardware underpins the Panigale V4 Lamborghini?
Underpinned by the Panigale V4 S mechanical package, the Panigale V4 Lamborghini features an aluminium monocoque chassis, 17-inch forged aluminium wheels, and electronically adjustable Öhlins suspension with an NPX 25/30 fork at the front and a TTX36 rear shock working through Smart EC 3.0 control, while the braking hardware includes twin 330 mm semi-floating front discs with radially mounted Brembo Monobloc Hypure 4-piston callipers.
At the heart of the Panigale V4 is Ducati’s 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine. The V4 produces about 216 bhp at 13,500 rpm and 122.1 Nm at 11,250 rpm, paired to a slick 6-speed gearbox.
What type of electronics does the Panigale V4 Lamborghini feature?
Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini comes equipped with a comprehensive electronics package, which includes multiple Riding Modes and Power Modes, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, Ducati Slide Control, Engine Brake Control, Ducati Power Launch, Race eCBS, and a Pit Limiter.
How exclusive is the Panigale V4 Lamborghini?
Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini is extremely exclusive, with Ducati limiting production to 630 numbered units worldwide, along with an additional 63 Speciale Clienti units reserved for Lamborghini owners, who can configure their superbike in colours matching their Italian supercar.
