Why is the car so lightweight?
Porsche uses specific materials to reduce the vehicle’s mass, including carbon-fibre body parts from the 911 S/T. These parts consist of the bonnet, wings, doors, anti-roll bars, and shear plate. Moreover, the Porsche 911 GT3 S/C includes a standard PCCB braking system. This system weighs 20 kilograms less than cast-iron alternatives. Additionally, the car also features magnesium centre-lock wheels. These wheels measure 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear. Therefore, the wheels remove nine kilograms of rotating mass. Perforated leather covers the seat centre panels and the steering wheel. Drivers start the car using a rotary ignition switch located to the left of the steering column. Finally, the digital instrument cluster features a track mode. This mode displays data on tyres, oil, coolant, and fuel. Shift lights position next to the rev counter to signal gear changes.

Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur offers an optional Street Style Package for the Porsche 911 GT3 S/C. This package applies Pyro Red graphics to the front wings and side lettering. The interior incorporates Adaptive Sports Seats Plus with a Porsche crest. Additionally, the seats and glove box use braided leather in Slate Grey, Guards Red, Magnesium Grey, and Kalahari. Guards Red details feature on the stitching, door loops, and seatbelts. The package also provides a darkened gear lever with a wood knob.
What accessories are available?
Customers can buy a storage box for the rear cabin of the Porsche 911 GT3 S/C. This 10-kilogram box holds 80 litres and attaches to the body via pins. Buyers can adjust the colour of the trim strips and stitching. Furthermore, Porsche Design produces a custom watch for owners. The titanium timepiece includes a flyback function and a winding rotor shaped like the car’s magnesium wheels. The watch strap consists of leather and thread used in the vehicle’s interior.
