What is the Panerai Radiomir Viaggio Nel Tempo Experience Set?
It celebrates 100 years of Panerai’s Piazza San Giovanni Boutique in Florence, Italy. The set includes the California Bronzo PAM01729 and Radiomir Platinumtech PAM01730. Customers of the 30 sets, ideally both “seasoned collectors and new enthusiasts,” will be invited to an Italian journey during September 15th – 18th that follows “the very locations and moments that forged Panerai’s legendary history.” It is the first time the brand has combined a watch set with one of its experiences.
How exciting is the Italian journey?
It begins in Florence, where guests will celebrate the Piazza San Giovanni Boutique’s 100th anniversary that includes a that includes a carefully curated exhibition.
Following this, the guests will “retrace the heroic footsteps of the legendary Italian frogmen, exploring their original meeting grounds, training arenas, and diving points at the mouth of the Serchio River,” and also enjoy a vintage car ride along the Italian countryside.
Finally, they will “transfer to the COMSUBIN base in Porto Venere for an authentic diving experience, followed by a breathtaking yacht tour along the Ligurian coastline, a powerful evocation of the brand’s profound maritime roots.”
What are both models’ dial features?
The Radiomir California Bronzo PAM01729 features a single layer dial with a black grained finish. The blue burnished steel hour and minute hands, and Roman and Arabic numerals and bar indices are coated with beige Super-LumiNova (green emission).
The Radiomir Platinumtech PAM01730 features a sandwich construction dial with a circular sun-brushed finish. The blue burnished steel hour and minute hands, and Arabic numerals and markers are coated with beige Super-LumiNova (green emission).
What are both models’ case and strap features?
The Radiomir California Bronzo PAM01729 features a case, bezel, and crown made from brushed bronze. Case diameter: 47 mm. Dial side features a domed PLEXIGLAS® crystal. Titanium caseback features a sapphire crystal. Water resistant up to 10 bar or approximately 100 metres. Watch comes with a dark brown rolled leather strap with beige stitching and fitted with a trapezoidal brushed bronze buckle.
The Radiomir Platinumtech PAM01730 features a case, bezel and caseback made from Platinumtech. Case diameter: 47 mm. Dial side features a domed PLEXIGLAS crystal. Caseback features a sapphire crystal. Water resistant up to 10 bar. Watch comes with a dark brown alligator leather strap with beige stitching and fitted with a trapezoidal polished white gold buckle.

The Radiomir California Bronzo PAM01729 is powered by calibre P.3000, a manually wound movement that drives the hours and minutes. It measures 16 ½ lignes (diameter), 5.3 mm (thickness), comprises 21 jewels and 161 parts, beats at a luxurious rate of 3 Hz or 21,600 vph, and has a power reserve of 3 days delivered by two barrels. Movement features a Glucydur® balance and an Incabloc® anti-shock device.
The Radiomir Platinumtech PAM01730 is powered by calibre P.3001/10, a manually wound movement that drives the hours, minutes and power reserve indicator (reverse side of the movement). It measures 16 ½ lignes (diameter), 6.3 mm (thickness), comprises 21 jewels and 198 parts, beats at a rate of 3 Hz, and has a power reserve of 3 days delivered by two barrels. Movement features an an Incabloc anti-shock device.
