What is the new Ralph Lauren 888 Automatic 39mm?
It is the latest addition to Ralph Lauren’s 888 collection, a dress watch family that “balances classic elegance with contemporary design.” It highlights a guilloché-pattern dial housed in a 39 mm stainless steel case featuring a guilloché-textured bezel. It is powered by an automatic movement.

What is its dial, case, and strap details?
The dial is silvery-opaline with a central guilloché-pattern. The Breguet-style hour and minute hands and seconds hand are shiny black and lacquered. The black Roman and Arabic numerals are printed on the dial. Subtle hour and minute scale on the outer dial.
The case is made from polished stainless steel, measuring 39 mm (diameter) * 6.10 mm (thickness). Dial side features a flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment. Caseback features a sapphire crystal. Water resistant up to 3 bar or approximately 30 metres. The watch comes with a black calf-leather strap with black Alsavel® lining fitted with a stirrup-shaped (owning to the brand’s equestrian heritage) pin buckle made from polished stainless steel. The strap is interchangeable.
What are the movement features?
It is powered by RL300-1, a Swiss Made movement based on the Sellita SW SW300-1 a, which drives the hours, minutes, and seconds with a stop seconds function. It measures 11 ½ lignes, comprises 25 jewels, beats at 4 Hz or 28,800 vph and delivers a power reserve of approximately 50 hours. It is a dependable movement that is easily serviceable by qualified watchmakers worldwide.
