Key Features
Functions
Central hours, minutes, and seconds.
Dial

Image: This is the first time hour-markers and a minute track has not been used on a Gerald Charles model. Notice the crown with the Clous de Paris finish. The Maestro case was penned by the legendary Gerald Genta.
Made from Tiger’s Eye. Baton-shaped hour and minute hands are coated with white Super-LumiNova (Green emission at night).
“At the heart of the watch lies a dial crafted from Tiger’s eye, a rare and visually striking fibrous quartz known for its golden shimmer and captivating chatoyancy. Once popular in 1970s watchmaking, Tiger’s Eye has been reimagined here with a modern edge, reflecting the spirit of both brands. Due to the stone’s internal fragility, cutting and finishing it requires diamond-tipped tools, slow precision work, and the expertise of a select few lapidary artisans. Each dial undergoes a strict selection process, with only the most visually balanced and structurally sound pieces making it through. The result is a dial that is not only technically complex but a work of natural art; unique, luminous, and alive with visual texture.”
Case

Image: The Maestro’s asymmetric polygon case has smooth edges, and is carved with CNC numeric control machines. Notice the brand’s logo embossed on the crown.
Maestro case is made from stainless steel. Components: 35. Dimensions: 39 mm * 41.70 mm. Thickness: 9 mm.
Dial side features a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. Caseback features a sapphire crystal. Screw-down crown at 3 o’clock features a Clous de Paris finish. Water resistant up to 10 ATM or approximately 100 metres.
The watch comes with a sand-coloured vulcanised rubber strap fitted with a polished Colormix stainless steel pin buckle engraved with the Gerald Charles logo.
“For this edition, Gerald Charles debuts its first-ever Colormix finish on the case, a metallic bronze brown achieved through a proprietary blend of chemical and physical treatments. Previously used only on internal components, the finish has been specially reinforced for external application, lending the case a distinctive warmth and scratch resistance. This deep brown tone is echoed on the buckle and paired with a sand toned vulcanised rubber strap, whose matte, lightly textured finish evokes the golden landscape of the UAE.”
Movement

Left: Cutaway diagram of the movement. Right: Caseback view. Notice the brand’s honeycomb motif on the unidirectional automatic winding rotor. Bridges are decorated with colimaçon, Côtes de Genève, and perlage finishes.
Powered by Swiss Manufacture 2.0 calibre (Ref. GCA2000), an automatic movement that drives the hours, minutes, and seconds. There is also a date function, though not used on this anniversary model. Diameter: 25.60 mm. Thickness: 3.70 mm. Parts: 189 components. Jewels: 28. Frequency: 28,800 vph or 4 Hz. Power reserve: 50 hours with a double barrel system.
Movement features a high level of accuracy and is resistant to vibrations and shocks. 5G shock resistance that is evaluated with a 5 axes robotic arm. Incabloc anti-shock system.
“Together with Mohammed, we achieved a rare harmony between the case, strap, and dial. In this creation, every detail was meticulously considered and custom-designed to ensure the piece stands out as genuinely unique. It strikes a perfect balance between the understated luxury that defines Gerald Charles and the avant-garde design that continues to drive our vision.” – Federico Ziviani, CEO of Gerald Charles.

The Maestro 2.0 Ultra-Thin – Tiger’s Eye celebrates two anniversaries – Ahmed Seddiqi’s 75th and Gerald Charles 25th – making it a tad more special. With its striking Tiger’s Eye dial housed in the Gerald Genta designed Maestro case, the limited run of 20 pieces should be spoken for soon.
