Ahmed Seddiqi – the leading watch and jewellery retailer in the UAE, and Belgian independent watch brand Ressence – introduce the new Type 9 S75. A unique version of the Type 9, it celebrates Ahmed Seddiqi’s 75th anniversary.
The Ahmed Seddiqi and Ressence Type 9 S75 is the fourth collaboration between them. The DX Trilogy, a 6-year partnership between the retailer and watch brand included: The Type 1 DBX (2019), Type 1 DX2 (2021), and Type 1°DX3 (2023).

Dial
Dial is made from grade 5 titanium (75 mm radius). It runs “on a jewel ball bearing with eccentric satellites rolling on jewel ball-bearings inclined at 9,75° (hours).”
The sand is bonded on the titanium minutes and hours discs.
The engraved indication (hour and minute hands, markers on hours discs, and markers on bezel) are coated with green Grade A Super-LumiNova.
Movement
Powered by the patented ROCS 9 (Ressence Orbital Convex System) module. It is driven by the minute axle of a customised and reinforced ETA 2892/2 base automatic movement.

Case
Case is made from polished grade 5 titanium.
Diameter: 39 mm. Thickness: 11 mm.
Dial side features a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating inside. Splash resistant up to 1 ATM or approximately 10 metres.
Time setting and winding is done via the caseback – 2 directions.
Watch comes with a camel leather strap fitted to a polished ardillon buckle made from grade 5 titanium.

The Type 9 S75 bridges the horological innovation of Ressence with the local culture of the UAE. It is a unique and rare watch, and its price does not break the bank. It highlights the commitment both Ahmed Seddiqi and Ressence have towards each other, and is a fitting way to celebrate the retailers 75th anniversary.
