A new edition of Audemars Piguet Parallel thrills music lovers

The third edition of Audemars Piguet Parallel – the immersive music experience of Audemars Piguet (AP) – took place during 16th July during the 59th edition of the Montreux Jazz Festival held in locations around the Lake Geneva region. AP has been a partner of the Montreux Jazz Festival since 2019. Earlier editions of Audemars Piguet Parallel were held during 2022 and 2024.

For the occasion, this former industrial site, built in 1964 and inactive since 1999, was transformed into a vibrant and immersive venue inspired by the world of watchmaking.”

It was held at an abandoned thermal power plant in Vouvry, overlooking Lake Geneva. Alex Wann – a Paris based DJ, producer, and a “deep house prodigy,” Chloé Caillet – a Paris based DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist known for her “eclectic electro sound,” and Peggy Gou – a Berlin based South Korean DJ, and a “house music superstar” – enthralled an audience of almost 1000 invited guests with their “electrifying electronic sets.”

This year marks our 150th anniversary, and we’re thrilled to celebrate this milestone with the Montreux Jazz Festival audience.”Ilaria Resta, CEO of Audemars Piguet.

One of its main partnerships began in 2006 when the Manufacture joined forces with EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne) and a panel of experts, including musicians, for an 8-year research programme on the acoustic tonality of 19th-century timepieces.”
