This ‘Tailor Made’ Ferrari Roma Spider Is Beautiful To Behold

The exclusive edition by Ferrari Tailor Made features a generous amount of Nappa leather and exquisite wood trim.

With its sleek lines and striking appearance, the Ferrari Roma is a stunning sports car. But the Roma Spider is even more so when the latter is enhanced with generous amounts of exquisite Nappa leather and wood trims. The result is a perfect car.

Ferrari collaborated with Montblanc to design this Roma Convertible, inspired by the Meisterstück pen. It is one of the many unique Ferrari models created under the Tailor Made customisation programme and introduces various new manufacturing techniques.

Ferrari has used laser engraving technology on many elements of this Roma Spider, including the compass rose design and Maranello’s geographical coordinates engraved on the bonnet. The automaker also sourced recycled tyre threads for the interior stitching, used recycled aluminium for body parts, and provided chrome-free Nappa leather for the seats and dashboard.

However, the most exciting trim remains the wood, with Ferrari sourcing controlled-origin wood for the trunk lid, side sills, and rear floor. Even the front floor mats come with a matching wood grain, and the wood sills on either side of the doors feature gold Ferrari logos.

The car wears a beautiful Oro Mida paint finish similar to the one found on the company chairman’s unique Ferrari Monza and comes with a matching Meisterstück pen in the same shade. The one-of-a-kind pen features hand-crafted, platinum-plated Au750 solid gold accents and a custom design motif that matches the one on the Roma’s hood.

Speaking of the engine, it is worth mentioning that it is a turbocharged V8 3.9 litre that generates 612 hp. The car has an eight-speed automatic gearbox that sends the power and torque to the rear wheels, allowing it to accelerate to 100 kilometres per hour in 3.4 seconds.

Before this exclusive car is delivered to the lucky customer, it will be displayed at the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Italy. We can only imagine how much it cost to build it.
