Kia India Revamps Seltos and Sonet Lineups with New Variants and Features

Kia is strengthening the X-Line trims of both Seltos and Sonet by introducing a new Aurora Black Pearl colour option. This offers a sleek, all-black glossy look alongside the existing Matt Graphite option, catering to customers who prefer a bolder aesthetic.

Kia India, a rapidly growing carmaker in the Indian market, is refreshing its popular Seltos and Sonet SUVs. This update brings a wider range of options and enhanced features to cater to diverse customer preferences.

More Variants and Powertrain Options:

  • Seltos: The Seltos lineup expands to 21 variants with the introduction of 4 new GTX variants. These variants offer both petrol and diesel engine options with automatic transmissions (DCT for petrol and AT for diesel).
  • Sonet: The Sonet lineup sees a similar expansion to 22 variants with the addition of new GTX trims. These variants, available in both petrol and diesel with automatic transmissions, further elevate the value proposition of the existing GT Line trims.

A Turbocharged Sonet Under 10 Lakhs:

A significant addition is the introduction of a turbocharged petrol engine option for the Sonet HTK variant. This makes the Sonet with a powerful engine accessible for under 10 lakh rupees, creating a more attractive entry point for performance-oriented buyers.

Enhanced Features Across Trims:

  • Seltos: The top-of-the-line GTX+ variants receive upgrades like Solar Glass and white brake callipers for a sportier look. Additionally, the new GTX variant boasts advanced features like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), a sliding armrest, and a 360-degree camera, offering a significant step up in technology and convenience compared to the HTX variant.
  • Sonet: Lower trims of the Sonet benefit from the inclusion of in-demand features like ISOFIX child seat anchor points, wireless phone chargers, rear wipers and washers, and diamond-cut alloy wheels. This enhances the overall value proposition of these trims.
