Witness the best of yachting industry at the 29th Dubai International Boat Show

One of world’s premiere yacht show will get conducted between 1st to 5th March, 2023

More than 30,000 individuals are expected to come together at the Dubai Harbour to attend the Dubai International Boat Show. This year marks the 29th edition of the Dubai International Boat Show, considered the largest and most established marine and lifestyle event in the Middle East. It is set to get conducted between the 1st to 5th of March 2023.

More than 12% of the world’s superyachts reside within the MENA region, making it a hotspot for the marine industry. Hence, the event line-up is expected to comprise more than 175 yachts and watercraft from globally renowned shipyards such as Azimut, Ferretti, Gulf Craft and over 1,000 global brands in attendance.

Homegrown yacht developer Gulf Craft has vowed to amaze the DIBS23 audience with the launch of the Majesty 111 yacht. Gulf Craft describes the Majesty 111 as ‘anything but an average superyacht’ and a yacht that’ll redefine industry standards and set the tone for future Majesty yachts. The five-day DIBS23 event will further oversee over 50 global and regional yacht launches with more than ten new brands on display, including Abeking & Rasmussen, Boutique Yachts, Finnmaster, Greenline Yachts, Nordhavn, SAY Carbon Yachts, Sirena Yachts, and Tecnomar. Nautical enthusiasts would also get an opportunity to ride the ocean waves, with Sunseeker Gulf debuting as the new regional distributor of Sunseeker Yachts across the GCC region.

Besides yachts flooding the Dubai Harbour, the DIBS2023 will also house the latest marine technology within the Equipment, Supplies and Services area. Elcome will introduce the Starlink internet connection service, a revolutionary SpaceX vision that enables boat owners to stay connected on the world wide web anywhere around the globe. Another technology to look out for would be solar-powered yachts by Silent Yachts. The firm specialises in ocean-going production yachts powered solely by clean energy, batteries and solar panels to feed energy to the electric motors of the yacht.

Visitors wanting to gain insight into the future of yachts and the marine industry would benefit from the world’s second edition of the Experiential Yachting Forum. Scheduled to take place from 2nd to 3rd March, it’s aimed to bring investors into the yachting world and explore alternative uses of superyachts. DIBS23 would further play host to the launch of the DIBS S.E.A. (Sustainable Environmental Action) Mission which has been devised to support Dubai’s marine life.
