What is the new ZENITH Chronomaster Solo Sport?
The Chronomaster Solo Sport is a new three-hand watch powered by a version of ZENITH’s renowned El Primero movement. The four references are housed in a stainless steel case with an integrated bracelet.
“Crafted as a three-hand watch for everyday versatility, the Chronomaster Solo Sport brings together two defining pillars of ZENITH’s watchmaking expertise: high-frequency precision and distinctive design. Preserving the legendary El Primero high-frequency identity, the watch emphasizes cadence, precision, and the unique sensation of time on the wrist, while translating these technical qualities into a timepiece suited to modern daily wear.”

The faceted hands and applied hour-markers are coated with Super-LumiNova SLN C1.
What are the case and bracelet features?

The case of each reference is made from stainless steel, measuring 40 mm (diameter). Dial side and caseback feature a sapphire crystal. Water resistant up to 20 ATM or approximately 200 metres.
The watch is fitted with a three-link stainless steel integrated bracelet. It features the brand’s ZENCLASP™ folding clasp featuring an integrated micro-adjustment system.
Is the movement a descendant of the brand’s historic El Primero?

Yes. Each reference is powered by El Primero 3620, a high-frequency automatic movement that drives the hours, minutes, seconds with a stop-second function and date (and the same movement is used in the non-date reference). It comprises 219 parts and 27 jewels, beats at 5 Hz or 36,000 vph and delivers a power reserve of approximately 60 hours. The movement features a silicon escapement and a bi-directional star-shaped open worked automatic winding rotor.
What do we think?

The Chronomaster Solo Sport is an excellent versatile everyday watch. Deceptively simple, a closer look at its dial reveals the phenomenal movement that powers it. Its El Primero pedigree and accessible price point will make each reference a bestseller for the brand.
