The New 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 unveiled

There’s yet another Royal Enfield launch coming in a few days

It almost seems like only a few days have passed since Royal Enfield launched their very new Guerrilla 450 with a very ostentatious campaign – they’re back again with their classic model both literally and figuratively – The Royal Enfield Classic 350.

The Bike will be launched and available for purchase from September 1st onwards but as of now they have unveiled the product in its flesh and shared the details regarding the new upgrades it may or may not get, over its predecessor.

Classic 350 is one of the oldest stalwarts in the Royal Enfield lineup and quite a popular one at it – accounting for 39% of sales for the brand – updating it seems natural, keeping your cash cow up to date and desirable to its fanbase when your competition is breathing down your neck.

So, what’s new?

So, what’s new?

Classic 350 has followed a set of rules that ensured its success over the years – such as staying true to a complete metal body, with a traditional design that arguably hasn’t been tweaked in its decades-old run and a 350cc engine with a distinct thump that has ignited spirits of millions of Royal Enfield fans across the nation – So, the 2024 model year Classic 350 is all that but slightly more.

The 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 gets a new lighting system, with LED illumination for the headlamp, pilot lamps, turn indicators, and tail lamp. The new headlight unit is similar to the one offered on the much more expensive Guerrilla 450 and the Super Meteor 650. Furthermore, it also has an adjustable clutch and brake levers aiding in a more tailored riding experience for each rider with different preferences.

The most noticeable change that one can easily perceive by the naked eye is the range of new colour options that Royal Enfield is offering for the classic 350 – the new classic 350 gets a range of 7 different shades – Jodhpur Blue, Madras Red, Emerald, Commando Sand, Brown, and Stealth.

Mechanically, the new 2024 Classic 350 continues to be powered by the similar single-cylinder 349cc, air/oil-cooled engine that’s found on the other 350 models from the Royal Enfield that makes 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and a torque of 27Nm at 4,000rpm – paired with a five-speed gearbox.

Other parts of the vehicle frame and suspension are also carried off from the outgoing model such as telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers, a 300mm disc up front and a 270mm rotor at the back all are carried over from the outgoing Classic 350.

Expect the newer model to be dearer by at least 5000 – 7000rs for each variant keeping in line with the new upgrades this model gets over its predecessors. the outgoing model started from 1.90 lakhs  – 2.05 lakh rupees ex-showroom.

But wait there’s a surprise –

Royal Enfield along with the unveiling of the classic 350 has also launched their new customization program called Royal Enfield Factory Customs Program that allows the potential customers to be their beloved Classic 350 in bespoke colour options right out of the factory.
