Suzuki has unveiled the all-new GSX-10R at EICMA 2026 in Milan, introducing a fully faired sports bike to its GSX range. The new sports bike is developed under the concept ‘FUN. UNLIMITED.’ The GSX-10R is designed to combine performance-oriented riding with everyday usability.
What engine powers the Suzuki GSX-10R?
The Suzuki GSX-10R is powered by a 999cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, four-stroke inline-four engine derived from the K5-generation GSX-R1000 powerplant. The engine produces 150hp at 11,000rpm and 106Nm of peak torque at 9,250 rpm; the power is transferred to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox, which comes with the Suzuki Clutch Assist System and a bidirectional quickshifter that allows for clutchless upshifts and downshifts. It uses a four-into-one exhaust system.
The engine receives several revisions, including updated camshafts, a cam-chain sprocket, cylinder head, barrels, crankcases and crank journals. According to Suzuki, the changes are intended to improve reliability and performance while preparing the engine for the potential use of alcohol-based fuel.

What chassis, suspension, and braking hardware does the Suzuki GSX-10R get?
The GSX-10R is built around an aluminium twin-spar frame, accompanied by a newly developed aluminium swingarm and redesigned subframe. Suzuki engineers have also revised the steering geometry.
Suspension duties are handled by a 43mm inverted KYB front fork and a rear linkage-type KYB shock absorber. The motorcycle also comes fitted with an electronically controlled steering damper.
The motorcycle uses twin 310mm front brake discs paired with Brembo radial-mount monobloc four-piston callipers and a single disc with a Nissin calliper at the rear. The braking package is supported by Suzuki’s Motion Track Brake System and ABS.

What electronic features and rider aids does the Suzuki GSX-10R offer?
The GSX-10R comes equipped with Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), which comprises 15 electronic control features, monitored by a six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU). The list includes the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector Alpha (SDMS-α), which offers three power delivery modes, and the traction control system, which has 10 intervention levels and can also be switched off.
Other features include a lift limiter, roll torque control, slide control, launch control and engine brake control with three selectable modes and an off setting. Two more notable additions are the Slide Control System and Brake Hold Control.
The new sports bike comes with a full-colour TFT display compatible with Suzuki Ride Connect+. Smartphone connectivity supports functions such as navigation, notifications and weather information. It also comes with Suzuki’s new Suzuki Ground Beacon System (SGBS) designed to improve motorcycle visibility to other road users when turn indicators are on by controlling how the light illuminates the area around the motorcycle.

What are the design highlights of the Suzuki GSX-10R?
The GSX-10R features an aggressive full fairing design with styling elements inspired by Suuzki’s GSX-R. The front section incorporates a compact LED projector headlamp, LED position lights and a front winglet designed to offer aerodynamic functionality.
Suzuki is offering the GSX-10R in three colour combinations: Pearl Vigour Blue with Metallic Mystic Silver, Pearl Pulse Red with Solid Iron Grey, and Metallic Galaxy Grey with Glass Sparkle Black.
