Rebellion Timepieces unveil a limited edition watch for the Gulf Historic Dubai GP Revival

The watch is limited to just 50 units and gets a classic Formula racecar silhouette

Dubai will be witnessing the Gulf Historic Revival this month, and now they have a watch to commemorate the event. Rebellion timepieces unveil a unique limited edition watch that represents the elegance of classic motorsport.

The watch is aptly named ‘The Twenty-One Gulf Historic’. The watch is limited to just 50 examples and is priced at CHF 5,200 or $5,400.

The watch gets a cushion-shaped design made of stainless steel black DLC with a 47mm case dimension. Combining the black hue and copper accents of the watch gives the watch a very vintage theme. The dial set-up is inspired by the design of the original model’s iconic classic cars’ steering wheels. The time is displayed at 12 o’clock using a rotating disc found on the American pony cars, and a supercharged tachometer inspires the minute’s hand.

Flipping the watch over, you get an automatic in-house movement with a GMT function with 42 hours of power reserve. The anti-reflective sapphire crystal case-back also features the wording “Gulf Historic” and has an engraved classic Formula racecar silhouette.

The watch comes with vintage calf leather straps with Gulf Historic logo engraving and is available in green with red topstitching, orange with green topstitching and brown with white topstitching. Stainless steel buckle with engraved Rebellion logo.

The watch is available for preview and sale at the Rebellion Timepieces booth throughout the Gulf Historic Dubai GP Revival.
