Las Vegas is accustomed to spectacle, but even the Strip paused to take notice when Pagani Automobili arrived at the fourth edition of the Las Vegas Concours, held from October 31 to November 2 at the Wynn Las Vegas. The event marked Pagani’s most ambitious presence in the United States to date, gathering an unprecedented fleet of forty hypercars.
For collectors and enthusiasts, it was a historic moment where over twenty-five years of the brand’s artistry, engineering ambition, and coachbuilt culture were showcased together. The weekend began with Pagani’s participation in Sunset GT, a pre-Concours gathering curated for the most exclusive automobiles in the world.
From there, guests were ushered into a carefully designed sequence of private Pagani experiences, highlighting the atelier’s dedication to emotional engagement with both clients and the machines they love.
A Historic Gathering Of Pagani Hypercars
The core of Pagani’s presence at the Concours was the vast hypercar exhibition, by far the most extensive the brand has ever curated in America. The display transported visitors through the company’s entire history, beginning with the Zonda C12, the very car that announced Pagani’s arrival on the world stage in 1999 with its naturally aspirated AMG-derived V12 and carbon-fibre monocoque construction.
Nearby stood the Zonda Tricolore and Huayra Tricolore, reunited for the first time in a public U.S. event and celebrating two milestones of the Italian Air Force’s Frecce Tricolori demonstration team. The appearance of the Zonda Arrivederci added more weight, symbolising the closing chapter of the Zonda lineage, while the Imola and Imola Roadster represented Pagani’s most extreme track-oriented developments, engineered for extraordinary aerodynamic loads and lateral grip.
The exhibition further extended into the modern era with several variants of the Huayra, including the ultra-rare Codalunga coupé, of which only five examples were ever produced, and finally the Utopia, Pagani’s latest creation that pairs a rear-wheel-drive chassis with a twin-turbo AMG V12 and even the option of a gated manual transmission, a deliberate and welcome rebellion against automotive digitalisation. Surrounding these icons were a number of one-off commissions and special editions sourced from private American collections, each offering its own interpretation of the Pagani design language.
The World Premiere Of The Huayra Codalunga Speedster
The defining moment of the weekend unfolded on November 1, when Horacio Pagani revealed the Huayra Codalunga Speedster to the world for the first time. This open-top evolution of the long-tail Codalunga is presented as a tribute to essential beauty, inspired by the purity and proportions of 1960s endurance racers.
Developed through an intimate collaboration between the client and Pagani Grandi Complicazioni, the Speedster translates the coupé’s elongated teardrop silhouette into a more dramatic, open-air form. Its bodywork continues the long-tail philosophy by extending and smoothing the airflow over the rear, reducing drag and enhancing high-speed stability.
Power comes from the familiar Mercedes-AMG twin-turbo 6.0-litre V12, expected to deliver output figures comparable to or exceeding the coupé’s already formidable numbers, resulting in a machine where performance and aesthetics coexist seamlessly.
A Dramatic Finale On The Las Vegas Strip
The festivities culminated on November 2 with the Tour d’Elegance, a parade that transformed the Las Vegas Strip into a runway for hypercars. Many of the forty Pagani models joined the procession, filling the boulevard with the unmistakable resonance of V12 engines and the visual theatre of carbon fibre bodywork under the desert sun.
The sight of multiple Paganis gliding through one of the world’s most iconic cityscapes created a surreal tableau, one that perfectly captured the spirit of a weekend dedicated to engineering excellence, artistic expression, and automotive passion.
