Oris launches the handsome Hölstein Edition 2024.

Oris, the Hölstein, Switzerland, based watchmaker, has unveiled the Hölstein Edition 2024. It is a full black-on-black version of Oris’s Divers Sixty-Five timepiece and powered by their Calibre 400. The Hölstein Edition 2024 epitomizes Oris’s legacy of innovation, craftsmanship, independent spirit, inclusivity, and joyful attitude. It is limited to 250 pieces. 


The Hölstein Edition 2024 has the following functions:

– Central hours and minutes.

– Centre seconds.

– Date at 6 o’clock.

– Fine timing device and stop-second function.


The Hölstein Edition 2024’s dial has the following features:

– The dial, hands, hour-markers, dial text, date wheel, and lume are all black in colour.

– The hour, minute, and seconds hands are coated with Super-LumiNova® (for the seconds hand, only the circular part towards its tip.)

– The 11 hour-markers are coated with Super-LumiNova®.

– Its outer dial features a minute track, graduated in increments of 5-minutes.

Case and Strap

The Hölstein Edition 2024’s case has the following features:

– It is a multi-piece case made of stainless steel and plated in black DLC. (DLC is short for diamond-like carbon.)

– It features a uni-directional rotating bezel, plated in black DLC. It features a minutes scale.

– Its case diameter is 40 mm.

– On its dial side, it features a sapphire crystal, domed on both sides, and features anti-reflective coating inside.

– It has a stainless steel screwed caseback plated in black DLC. It features special engravings – individual timepiece’s number and the Oris bear, wearing sunglasses and swimming trunks because it is summer. The Oris Bear signifies “leisure and relaxation.”

– It features a screw-in security crown, plated in black DLC.

– It is water resistant up to 10 bar or 100 metres.

– It comes with a black rubber strap with a black DLC plated buckle.


The Hölstein Edition 2024 is powered by Oris Calibre 400, a mechanical automatic winding calibre. It has the following features:

– It powers the hours, minutes, seconds, date, and has a fine timing device and stop-seconds function.

– It has a diameter of 30 mm.

– It has 21 jewels.

– It beats at a frequency of 28,800 vph or 4 Hz.

– It has a power reserve of 120 hours or 5 days.

– It has an accuracy of -3/+5 seconds a day (well within COSC tolerances).

– It is highly anti-magnetic, as it features more than 30 anti-magnetic parts, because of which it exceeds norms of the ISO 764 enhanced anti-magnetic standard.


The Hölstein Edition 2024 comes with a 10-year warranty if owners register on MyOris. Its warranty applies both to the timepiece and movement. Oris recommends a 10-year service interval, and a 5-year water-resistance check.
