MB&F LM Sequential EVO: there’s a lot going on the dial, and that’s why we like it

MB&F's 20th calibre is a thing of beauty. But it ain't subtle

MB&F (Maximilian Büsser & friends) teamed up watchmaker Stephen McDonnell to create the launch the brand’s 20th calibre, quite the achievement when you consider the company was only founded 17 years ago.

The Legacy Machine Sequential EVO comes in with two column-wheel chronographs incorporated into a single movement, with multiple time modes and a twinverter pusher located at 9 o’clock.

The 44 zirconium case houses a 585-component, 59-jewel manual winding movement with a 72-hour power reserve, vibrating at 3 Hz and you can see the complexity of the dial and the movement through the sapphire crystal and the sapphire caseback.

It is a spectacular piece, available with an orange dial-black rubber strap combo or with a black dial + white rubber strap.

Believe it or not this is a watch that you can use just about anywhere, for just about anything, thanks to its water resistantance (80 mt), screw-down crown and a the ‘FlexRing’ shock-absorbing system that protects the dial and the movement.

Priced at €160,000. Ouch.
