Lufthansa Lines Up Its Largest Passenger Jet For Denver

The first flight is scheduled for April 30 this year.

For the very first time, Lufthansa will deploy its largest passenger aircraft, an Airbus A380, on the Munich-Denver route. This makes Colorado’s capital the sixth destination for the airline’s A380 fleet. The first flight – LH480 – is scheduled for April 30, 2025. It’ll depart from Munich at 11:15 and land in Denver at 13:45. The return leg will commence and conclude its journey at 16:15 and 10:50 the next day, respectively. It’ll be a daily to-and-fro affair.

It’ll be quite a moment for Denver Airport as well because never before has the world’s roomiest airliner landed there. Lufthansa will base eight Airbus A380s at its Munich hub. The other five destinations the double-deckers will serve are New York (JFK), Boston, Washington, Los Angeles and Delhi. Each aircraft has a total of 509 seats, with eight in First Class, 78 in Business, 52 in Premium Economy and 371 in Economy.
