On June 17, 2025, LOT Polish Airlines launched its first nonstop service to Thessaloniki from its hub, Warsaw. The new route, with Poland’s capital at one end and Greece’s second-largest city and the culinary capital at the other, is scheduled to operate daily during the summer and four times a week during winter.
Here’s the daily flight schedule: On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, LOT Polish Airlines departs Warsaw at 14:10, whereas on the remaining three days, it takes off at 09:40. The return services from Thessaloniki begin their journeys at 18:25 and 13:55, respectively. The frequency drops to four weekly during the winter, with flights departing from the Polish capital at 14:10 on Mondays and Thursdays and 09:45 on Wednesdays and Sundays. The return flights will depart from Thessaloniki at 18:25 and 14:00, respectively.

Those planning to find more routes from Thessaloniki have several options. The Thessaloniki-Macedonia Airport is the country’s second biggest in terms of passenger traffic. Located about 13 km from the city centre, close to Thermi, it caters to numerous flights to various destinations across Europe, including Warsaw, Berlin, London, Milan, and Paris. On the domestic front, connections can be found to Athens, Crete, Rhodes, and other Greek islands.
