Beginning April 16, 2025, Poland’s flag carrier, LOT Polish Airlines, will add a new route to its network. The airline will establish a direct link between Warsaw and Malta. This route will operate four times weekly: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
On Tuesdays and Saturdays, flight LO673 will leave Warsaw and land in Malta at 14:05 and 17:05, respectively. On both of those days, the return leg—LO674—will depart from Malta at 17:55 and arrive in Warsaw at 20:50. Those who prefer travelling to Malta at a different time can fly on either of the remaining two days. The airline’s flight LO671 will depart from the Polish capital at 08:20 and arrive in Malta at 11:20. Those flying the other way can board flight LO672, which will leave from Malta and land in Warsaw at 12:10 and 15:05, respectively. A Boeing 737 will ferry passengers to and fro, while this route will be a year-round affair.
LOT Polish Airlines is already selling tickets for the new route. Malta is the largest island in the Maltese islands. However, it is the 10th smallest country in the world, with a land area of 316 sq. km.
