Jaguar Land Rover celebrate Queen Elizabeth
Marking the Platinum Jubilee of the British Monarch, JLR pulls out all its big guns
To celebrate seventy years of accession of Queen Elizabeth II to the throne of the United Kingdom, the British government is hosting an event unlike any before. This is the first British Monarch that has celebrated a Platinum Jubilee.
As a part of the festivities, Jaguar Land Rover, which holds the Royal “Warrant as Manufacturer of Motor Vehicles”, will actively participate in the celebrations.
Celebratory commission
Her Majesty the Queen’s patronage of the British Red Cross was celebrated with a specially commissioned new Defender 130 on her Platinum Jubilee.
26 Jaguars and Land Rovers
Iconic vehicles from the two British brands featured in the Jubilee Pageant, including two of Her Majesty’s beloved Land Rover Defenders and several historically-significant Jaguar E-types.
A specially commissioned, bespoke 1965 Series 1 Jaguar E-type Roadster makes its public debut in the parade.
Jaguar Land Rover holds three Royal Warrants and has an association with the Royal Family dating back even further than the Queen’s Coronation in 1952. British names Luke Evans, Bear Grylls OBE, Jason Robinson OBE, David Gandy and Jess Hawkins will show their support and get behind the wheel of these iconic vehicles
