What battery sizes do the Avore EX motorcycles use, and how much range do they claim?
The Avore EX1 uses a 3.24 kWh battery pack and claims an IDC range of 160 km. The EX2 and EX2S use larger 5 kWh battery packs, with claimed IDC ranges of 255 km and 260 km respectively.
How quick are these bikes?
The Avore EX1 and EX2 are claimed to produce 7.5 kW peak power, deliver a 100 kmph top speed and accelerate from 0–40 kmph in a claimed 3.2 seconds. The EX2S steps up to a 10.5 kW motor, with a claimed top speed of 114 kmph and a quicker 2.8-second 0–40 kmph time.
Are there connected features?
Avore has made connectivity central to the EX series. Its EX lineup comes equipped with a 7-inch digital display, while the EX2S is listed with a more advanced 7-inch TFT unit with 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity.
What rider aids does Avore offer?
Avore EX series comes equipped with state-of-the-art rider aids, especially on the higher trims. The EX1 and EX2 get the basics, such as Eco, City, and Sport riding modes, while the higher-spec EX2S adds more advanced features, including a simulated manual gear mode designed to simulate the riding experience of a traditional ICE motorcycle.
Additionally, the electric motorcycle comes with reverse mode, hill-hold assist, cruise control, Guide Me Home lights, auto indicator cut-off, and welcome lighting.
What about design?
Avore EX series follows a traditional commuter motorcycle silhouette, instead of an over-the-top sci-fi futuristic design. The Avore EX1 is the simpler-looking model, with a single-seat setup and comes with three single-tone colours, while the EX2 and EX2S look sportier with split seats and dual-tone paint options.
What are the official prices?
Avore has announced an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹1,24,999 for the EX1, applicable to the first 10,000 customers; post 10,000 customers, the EX1 will be available at ₹1,34,999; the EX2 is listed at ₹1,45,999, while the EX2S is priced at ₹1,69,999, all ex-showroom.
