Haute Wheels
There’s something about cars and fashion that just clicks. Both are built on the same foundations – design, detail, and a little bit of desire. They say a lot without saying much.
Over the years, luxury automakers and fashion houses have teamed up to create collaborations that go far beyond a logo on the hood. These aren’t just “limited editions.” They’re moving pieces of design – expressions of style, identity, and obsession with craft.
Out of all the car and fashion collaborations out there, these six felt the most iconic – personalities brought to life by fashion that turned heads and proved just how beautiful engineering can be.
1 Hermès × Bugatti Chiron

If perfection had a shape, this might be it. Hermès collaborated with Bugatti to create a one-of-a-kind Chiron that redefined bespoke luxury. Finished in Hermès’ soft Craie white with interiors wrapped in cashmere and leather, the car was commissioned by collector Manny Khoshbin. It took more than three years to complete, and every inch feels intentional.
2 Gucci × Fiat 500

When two Italian icons cross paths, style is inevitable. Gucci’s version of the Fiat 500 took the cheerful city car and dressed it up like it was heading to Milan Fashion Week.
Creative Director Frida Giannini gave it glossy black or white paint, the unmistakable green-red-green Gucci stripe, and interiors lined with supple Frau leather. It wasn’t built to win races – it was built to make an entrance.
3 Versace × Lamborghini Murciélago LP640

Back in 2006, Versace put its stamp on one of Lamborghini’s wildest creations – the Murciélago LP640. The result? A machine that screamed Italian glamour.
Inside, the leather seats carried Versace’s signature Greek key motif; outside, the body was finished in clean, custom tones. It was over-the-top in the best possible way. A statement piece on wheels.
4 Moncler × Mercedes-Benz G-Class

Just when you thought the G-Wagon couldn’t get more dramatic, Moncler stepped in. Their “Project Mondo G” took the SUV and transformed it using the brand’s signature puffer-jacket aesthetic – oversized quilting, metallic sheen, and all.
It was strange, theatrical, and absolutely unforgettable – more art installation than automobile.
5 Ermenegildo Zegna × Maserati Quattroporte

Not every collaboration needs to shout. Maserati’s partnership with Zegna was all about quiet sophistication. Instead of logos or patterns, it focused on materials – rich leather and Zegna’s woven silk lining the cabin. It felt less like sitting in a car and more like slipping into a perfectly tailored suit.
6 Paul Smith × Land Rover Defender

Paul Smith’s take on the Land Rover Defender was as playful as it was patriotic. He covered the body in 27 colours, each chosen to reflect the British countryside, and added thoughtful interior touches that preserved the Defender’s rugged charm.
It had personality, warmth, and that hint of humour Paul Smith is known for – the kind of design that makes you smile before you even start the engine.
Runways to Roadways
These collaborations demonstrate that cars and fashion share more in common than we might think. They’re not just about utility or luxury – they’re about emotion, movement, and identity. Both can tell a story without saying a word.
At the end of the day, both fashion and cars are about movement – one walks, the other drives. But the goal’s the same: to make people look twice!
