Girard-Perregaux launches a new 38mm Laureato Copper

We have seen many variations of the Laureato in 42mm, presenting the all-new 38mm Laureato Copper.

With over 230 years in the industry, Girard-Perregaux has launched some special Laureato’s in the past. The Green 42mm Laureato was a notable piece. This week, Girard-Perregaux introduces us to the all-new 38mm Laureato.

Although the 38mm Laureato Copper is the latest addition to the Laureato family. The origins remain the same with the octagonal bezel and integrated bracelet all encased in stainless steel, making it a timeless timepiece.

This metallic-themed watch is aptly named “copper” due to its dial colour that plays with the shade as the light hits it. The dial is completed with the GP logo depicted in golden hues. The dial also gets a golden central sweeping seconds hand that pairs well with the copper dial. The baton-type hands and indexes are treated with luminescent material enabling the users to see the time clearly in dim light.

Powering the watch is the Calibre GP03300 self-winding movement, which helps the case height be just 10mm. The clear case-back allows you to admire this in-house movement in all its glory. Some components feature four different decorations on the movement like bevelling, mirror-polishing, satin finish, snailing and sunray finishing. The bridges of the movement are decorated with straight Côtes de Genève and a pink gold oscillating weight is finished in circular côtes de Genève.

The all-new Girard-Perregaux Laureato 38mm Copper will retail for $14,900 and is available in Girard-Perregaux boutiques.
