Gargash Motors, one of the leading automotive distributors in the UAE, officially launched the GAC EMPOW R at an exclusive event attended by senior officials from Gargash Group and GAC Motor, where the ceremony was led by Morgan Sunderland, General Manager of Gargash Motors, Khaled Al Assal, National Sales Manager of GAC at Gargash Motors, and Mark Zhang, General Manager of GAC Motor International in the Middle East.
The GAC EMPOW R is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, producing an impressive 265 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds, and equipped with ZF DP-EPS steering, Bosch ESP10.0, premium Continental 4-piston fixed callipers, and Michelin high-performance tyres.
Inside, the car features luxurious bucket front seats lined with suede with carbon fibre accents, offering comfort and sportiness. Additionally, it features an 8-speaker Yamaha sound system, a 10.25-inch dual LCD cluster, and a 360-degree surround camera with an intelligent parking system.
On the safety front, the EMPOW R is equipped with advanced driver assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind spot detection.
The GAC EMPOW R starts at AED 119,900, and it comes with a 5-year warranty and 2 years of free service. Customers can choose from five sophisticated exterior colours: black, white, grey, matte grey, and silver.
