G-Power Offering A 900Hp-Tune For M5 CS

If that is a bit much, you can have it with 700hp, 750hp, 800hp and even 840hp.

Are you a BMW M5 CS owner? And are you looking for a performance upgrade? If yes, then G-Power Engineering could very well be the answer. The German tuning house offers a range of upgrades for the sedan, taking the power up from 635hp to 700hp, 750hp or 800hp. There is even a Hurricane RS tuning package available, which increases the output to 840hp. None of them is enough? Fair enough. How about 900hp? Intrigued? Meet the G-Power G5M CS Hurricane RR. Or in other words, the most powerful version of them all.

What about the torque, you wonder? In Hurricane RR spec, the twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 puts out 1,050Nm, 300Nm more than the standard BMW M5 CS (F90). To achieve such a powerful state of tune, G-Power gave the V8 new forged pistons, connecting rods and different air coolers. Even the turbocharges paid a visit to the drawing board. They feature CNC-milled turbine and compressor housings, more hardcore turbine blades and larger compressor and turbine wheels. In the mix is the G-Power exhaust system, which helps reduce exhaust back pressure. All that means that at full blast, the G-Power G5M CS Hurricane RR can hit 333kmph, almost 30kmph more than the M5 CS.

G-Power also offers the tuned sedan with a Venturi RR or RS carbon engine bonnet, which improves ventilation aiding thermal management. At the back is a rear spoiler made from carbon. There is also a choice for wheels – Hurricane RR or RS. Spanning 21 inches in diameter, they are available with 285/30 and 295/30 tyres. Indoors, the all-black theme with red accents is complemented by a plaque on the centre console. Besides the G-Power branding, it reads the serial number of the specimen.

So, how do you like G-Power’s latest offering? And do you think it looks good?
