Following its announcement of a third daily direct flight to Dublin a few days ago, Emirates has now made a similar announcement for another route: Dubai to Mauritius. Starting December 1, 2025, the Dubai-based airline will launch a third direct service to the island nation. A three-class configured Boeing 777-300ER jet, with flight numbers EK709/710, will complement the existing two daily services operated by Airbus A380 aircraft.
Flight EK709 will depart daily from Dubai at 06:55 and arrive in Mauritius at 13:40. The return leg, flight EK710, will begin and conclude its journey at 18:30 and 01:10 the next day, respectively. All times mentioned are local. Tickets for this service have gone on sale, with Emirates travellers having to choose among three cabin types: First, Business, and Economy.
Emirates’ third daily direct service connecting Dubai and Mauritius comes courtesy of a codeshare agreement with Air Mauritius, for which a fresh Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) enhancing business ties was inked earlier this year. Emirates says the third daily flight will enable travellers from Europe, the Middle East and the Americas to have more flexibility while creating itineraries to Mauritius. Additionally, it will provide enhanced connectivity to and from markets such as Japan, China, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.
