Dubai-headquartered Emirates proudly claims the title of the world’s largest international airline. Its announcement of adding three new destinations in Asia furthers its cause on the same front.
Starting July 1, 2025, the carrier will launch daily direct flights between its home hub Dubai and Shenzhen in mainland China. Flight EK328 will depart from Dubai at 10:05 and land in Shenzhen at 22:00. Those travelling the other way will board flight EK329, which starts and concludes the journey at 23:55 and 03:40 the next day, respectively. Emirates will deploy a thoroughly overhauled Boeing 777-300ER on this route, featuring a cabin with eight First Class private suites, 40 lie-flat seats in Business Class, 24 in Premium Economy and 260 in Economy.
Emirates’ services to the other two new destinations will go live before the Shenzhen connection. On June 2, 2025, the airline will launch its flight to Da Nang via Bangkok. Da Nang is set to become the carrier’s third destination in Vietnam after Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. On the newly announced connection, Emirates will operate four weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Flight EK370 will depart from Dubai and land in Bangkok at 09:00 and 18:25, respectively. For Da Nang, the flight will leave Thailand’s capital at 23:30 and conclude its journey at 01:10 the next day. The return flight will fly out of Da Nang at 03:40 and land in Dubai at 06:50.
From June 3, 2025, the third new destination will join the airline’s growing network. Emirates will begin operating three weekly flights to Siem Reap, Cambodia, via Bangkok on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Flight EK370 will depart from Dubai at 09:00 and land in Bangkok at 18:25. From there, the flight will take off for Siem Reap at 20:10 and land at its destination at 21:30. The return leg, EK371, will leave the Cambodian tarmac at 23:50 and reach Bangkok at 01:10 the next day. After a halt of 2 hours and 30 minutes, the flight will depart for its final sector at 03:40 and conclude the journey at 06:50.
Both new destinations to be served via Bangkok will use a two-class Boeing 777-300ER. The widebody will boast 35 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 386 in Economy. Tickets for all three routes are available through authorised channels, including Emirates’ App, retail stores, and contact centre.
