Emirates Confirms Two More Destinations That Upgraded 777s Will Serve

One is in Asia, while the other is in Europe.

Ever since its retrofitting programme gained pace and started delivering upgraded jets ready to take to the skies, Emirates has been busy listing all the destinations its upgraded Boeing 777s will serve. Two more names have joined the list: Seoul and London Stansted. While the Korean capital becomes the second East Asian destination for Emirates’ revamped 777 aircraft, the airport in the English capital is the third in the UK after Heathrow and Edinburgh.

The upgraded aircraft will enter service for the Dubai-Seoul route on April 14, 2025. Emirates will operate the route thrice weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, bearing flight numbers EK324 and EK325. On the other hand, the London Stansted route, featuring an overhauled Boeing 777, goes live on May 7, 2025.

The aircraft in question features a four-class configuration: First Class suites, 38 seats in Business Class, 24 in Premium Economy, and up to 260 in Economy. By July this year, those flying east with Emirates will have more than 3,150 weekly Premium Economy seats available on the upgraded 777s and A380s. These aircraft will serve six Southeast and East Asian destinations, including Tokyo-Narita, Tokyo-Haneda, Osaka, Singapore, Seoul, and Shenzhen. Emirates’ four-class Boeing 777 aircraft network in Europe includes Geneva, Zurich, Brussels, and Athens.
