Chinese car brand DEEPAL may have only two models on sale in the UAE, but the EV firm is expanding rapidly, and to substantiate the same, it has now opened another showroom in the UAE. Al Tayer Motors, one of the UAE’s premier automotive dealerships and one of DEEPAL’s UAE partners, has opened its second showroom in Dubai for the DEEPAL Electric Vehicle (EV) brand. The new DEEPAL showroom by Al Tayer Motors is located in the landmark Manazel Garhoud building, close to Sheikh Rashid Road, opposite Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre hotel.
The new DEEPAL facility in Garhoud is state-of-the-art and nearly 10,000 square feet. The showroom incorporates DEEPAL’s ethos of sustainability, green technologies, by equipping the place with intelligent LED lighting and cooling systems to make it energy efficient.
Also present will be both DEEPAL models – the S05 compact SUV and the S07 mid-sized SUV. Both cars can be had in BEV or REEV powertrain variations, and both get over 6 years of warranty. The S05 compact SUV gets 234hp power output with a combined range of over 900 km, and prices start at AED 89,900. The S07 mid-sized SUV, on the other hand, gets 234hp power output but with over 950 km of combined range, a sustainably built cabin, fast charging capabilities, and a starting price of AED 119900.
Speaking at the inauguration, Mr Ashok Khanna, CEO, Al Tayer Motors, said, “Opening two DEEPAL showrooms in Dubai and one in Abu Dhabi within a year of the brand’s launch reflects the increasing demand for the exceptionally designed vehicles.
