Corinthia Hotels has recently opened two new ultra luxury hotels. They include the Corinthia Brussels, and The Surrey in New York.
“Founded in Malta in 1968, Corinthia Hotels is a global hotel company with an expanding luxury portfolio. Corinthia has pioneered the ‘Grand Boutique’ hotel genre, blending the elegance of a grande dame with the energy of a lifestyle boutique hotel. From the original Corinthia Palace in Malta to hotels in London, Lisbon and Budapest, the company is developing landmark properties in New York, Rome, Brussels, Bucharest, Doha and Riyadh, alongside resorts in the Maldives and beyond. Combining Mediterranean soul with world-class culinary and wellness offerings and authentic service, Corinthia remains a leader in the hospitality sector with ambitious plans to further strengthen its position in global luxury.”

Our Thoughts
The hotel industry is among the most global in the world, and one that I find fascinating. Luxury hotel chains are experts at opening hotels in various parts of the world, where their individual properties incorporate key elements of their global brand, yet adapt to local destinations.
Corinthia Hotels has achieved this with the Corinthia Brussels and The Surrey in New York. Both are unabashedly a Corinthia hotel, with all the ultra-luxury, décor, creature comforts, fine dining, spa, top notch service, to name a few. Yet both are typical of their respective locations.
Image: Corinthia Brussels. Palm Court and Palais Royal. Historic hotel. European elegance.
The Corinthia Brussels is typical of a luxury hotel in a European capital. An old historic hotel with a rich history, newly renovated and modernised, and balances the old with the new under Corinthia’s leadership.

The Surrey incorporates a modern vibe and New York’s energy and spirit yet remaining a home away from home.
