Celebrating The BMW Individual Edition

BMW Group Middle East celebrates the art of individualisation with the launch of five exclusive BMW Individual Editions for the BMW 7 Series and X7. These limited-edition models have been designed specifically for the Middle East.

The BMW Individual programme began in 1985 as a small-scale programme within BMW Motorsport GmbH (now BMW M GmbH) offering bespoke vehicles. It quickly evolved into a core component of BMW’s manufacturing operations, incorporating bespoke features such as rare paints and premium leather trim directly into production. Over the decades, BMW Individual has revived iconic creations such as the 7 Series Bespoke by Karl Lagerfeld, the Next 100 Edition, and the BMW M850i Night Sky with meteorite.

Each of the five new editions was developed in close collaboration with BMW Group Middle East, and each embodies exclusivity. Highlights include the BMW Crystal headlights with their iconic glow, interior elements designed with meticulous purity, and exclusive Merino leather trim with extended detailing.

Among the most striking features are the exclusive paint finishes. In a concept BMW calls “Perfect Harmony,” the matching 7 Series and X7 models are offered in Maldivian Blue, Moura Metallic, and Macadamia Metallic. Maldivian Blue draws its inspiration from the region’s turquoise coastline, while Moura Metallic captures the mystique of the Arabian Nights. Additional distinctive finishes include Dark Glacier Green Metallic and the two-tone combination Pearl-effect Ruby Red with Sapphire Black Metallic. Unparallelled Customisation and Comfort

Customers celebrate access to the whole BMW Individual experience, whether they choose the all-electric BMW i7 M70 or the high-performance BMW X7 M60 with an internal combustion engine.

Luxury features such as ventilated seats, air fragrance systems, extended climate control, an illuminated panoramic roof, and advanced rear-seat entertainment systems are also available.

For those seeking even more exclusivity, the BMW Individual Manufaktur programme offers one-of-a-kind vehicles. Customers can choose from over 100 special colours, two-tone paint options, and personalised interior elements, including embroidered headrests and customised trim.

BMW is looking to expand its capabilities with a new Special and Individual Paintworks Centre at the Dingolfing plant, scheduled to open in 2027. This investment, worth approximately $35 million, will support up to 300 paint colour shades, combining automation and handcraftsmanship for even more personalised creations.

The five BMW Individual Editions are now available in limited numbers at official BMW dealerships across the Middle East.
