The Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon is now presented in platinum with blue accents. It remains the thinnest flying tourbillon watch in the world. It is a limited edition of 10 pieces.

What is the Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon Platinum?

For Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026, Bvlgari has unveiled a platinum version of its award-winning Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon. The debut titanium version launched in Geneva last year won the Tourbillon Watch Prize at the at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) awards ceremony held on 13th November 2025 in Geneva.

“Last year at Watches and Wonders, we already pushed the boundaries with the Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon. Today, with the Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon Platinum, the story continues and reaches a new chapter. This creation is not merely a new technical feat, but a true reaffirmation of our ability to innovate by combining the record-breaking thinness of the movement with the nobility and complexity of platinum. It embodies the perfect alliance between radical elegance and horological mastering, a timepiece that, through its exclusivity and sophistication, sets a new standard in the world of exceptional watches.” –  Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of LVMH Watches and CEO of Bvlgari.

Yes. It is powered by BVF 900 flying tourbillon calibre, an ultra-thin hand-wound movement that drives the hours, minutes and flying tourbillon. It comprises 15 jewels, beats at a modern frequency of 4 Hz or 28,800 vph and has a power reserve of 42 hours.

What are its dial features?

What do we think?

The Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon Platinum looks enticing with its blue accents, which in turn contrast beautifully with the white metal hue of platinum and steel elements. With this model, Bvlgari once again combines its Italian style and flair – the Octo Finissimo case, bracelet, and mastery of materials (platinum in this case) with the horological sophistication of an ultra-thin tourbillon movement. Another well deserved feather in the brand’s watchmaking universe.
