BURNT CLUTCH #2

In this series of burnt clutch I'm gonna share my experience which I had at the Chicago Autoshow 2025

So I went to the Chicago autoshow where I saw every car manufacturer show casing their cars which are going to be launched this year. In this article I’ll let you know about;

FIAT:

To be specific The Fiat 500 because that’s all they’ve got.

 They showcased the Fiat 500 which runs on electricity & I’m not gonna lie it looks cool. This tiny little car is carrying the legacy of fiat all alone on its tiny shoulders & its doing a pretty nice job. Although I like the fiat 500 which drinks petrol & uses a turbo charger to breath better, but to keep themselves in pace they had to switch to electric vehicles, but still Fiat is not doing well.. Why?
Because almost everyone wants an SUV to feel like idk what.. Hence cars nowadays aren’t humble, they try so hard to be mean and oversized ,so people don’t appreciate the little driver oriented cars. But this little zippy car deserves to be appreciated.

I’ve always loved the looks of Fiat 500, it is nicely proportioned with perfect sized wheels & because of its size you can easily park it in your wardrobe too… The dashboard looks appealing and it is nicely designed with modern touches yet still having the luxury of physical buttons to control the temperature inside the car. I also do appreciate the aluminium surrounded button for opening the door.

Even after making the car this small Fiat still gives you tweeters on the A pillar & a subwoofer in the trunk, I’ve seen some premium suvs lacking this feature.

Its got a nice Italian flag on the fender which feels like it is shouting at you ”Hey look at me, I’m sporty, I’ve got a flat bottom steering wheel, a red interior & above all I’m an ITALIAN.. Now here’s where the problem starts.

Italians are not known for their reliability especially in the electrical stuff & this thing runs on electricity. First of all let me tell you in confidence that this is an important car show where every car manufacturer tries to behave nicely & yet somehow Fiat managed to put a fog light which isn’t working.. How Italian is that.
