Bremont has introduced the Terra Nova Jumping Hour in a 904L stainless steel case – available with an identical bracelet or a brown nubuck leather strap. Unlike the debut bronze model which we covered earlier, this new steel model is not a limited edition.
“When we first launched the Terra Nova Jumping Hour in bronze, the response was phenomenal — it sold outvery quickly. It confirmed for us that our clients are not only hungry for more intriguing complications, but also for bold design statements. We know this watch has the potential to become a future icon, standing alongside the Altitude MB. In this regard, we’re proud to introduce its second iteration crafted in 904L steel and not limited. It’s as robust as any Bremont and makes a bold style statement.” – Davide Cerrato, CEO of Bremont.

“The high performance Bremont Jumping Hour movement operates through a system of gears and springs, allowing the hour disc to “jump” to the next numeral at the exact moment the minute hand completes a full revolution. In this instance the calibre developed is high performance with high torque, ensuring the jump is less than 1/10 second.”
Our Thoughts

The 904L stainless steel makes the Terra Nova Jumping Hour discreet and a great deal more versatile than the bronze model – yet highlighting the bold design of its ‘Montre a guichet’ style linear apertures. Furthermore, the closed-dial design in steel evokes vintage vibes – an aspect that would appeal to collectors. Bremont has a winner on its hands.
