Big Day For Air Serbia As Its Fleet Strengthens

Air Serbia has confirmed that its widebody aircraft count has risen to four. Serbia’s flag carrier has inducted an Airbus A330-200, bearing registration number YU-ARE and EXPO 2027 livery. Manufactured in 2014, the aircraft boasts a two-class configuration with 22 seats in Business Class and 240 in Economy. The airliner has two Rolls-Royce engines, jointly producing over 71,000 N of thrust, a 60-metre wingspan, and a 59-metre length. It can fly at a maximum altitude of 41,450 feet. 

According to Jiri Marek, CEO of Air Serbia, the new addition will help the airline strengthen and expand its network. It’ll operate on multiple routes, serving those travelling to North America and the People’s Republic of China. The carrier also wants to support EXPO 2027, which is planned to run from May 15 to August 15, 2027, in Belgrade. The abovementioned livery utilised the manpower and precision of eight people working two shifts over five consecutive days. A total of 270 stickers came together for the final livery look.
