On 21 May 2025, the Spanish Basque luxury fashion house, Balenciaga in collaboration with Automobili Lamborghini, revealed its Fall 25 collection, fusing automotive aesthetics with their signature styling.
The History
Founded by Spanish couturier Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1917 and established in Paris in 1937, Balenciaga is said to have revolutionised couture with innovative form and technique. Since 2015, under Demna’s artistic direction, it redefined luxury through bold collections, now offering women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, accessories, and objets d’art that blend heritage with modernity.
The Collection
The “Balenciaga | Automobili Lamborghini” series features ready-to-wear, leather goods, jewellery, and accessories, including oversized bomber jackets, motorsports-inspired leather racing jackets, T-shirts, hoodies, and trompe-l’œil layered shirts with Lamborghini Temerario artwork. It will be available in select Balenciaga stores worldwide, on balenciaga.com, and balenciaga.cn. The collaboration debuts new versions of the Rodeo, Hourglass, Explorer, and Carrie bags, all featuring the Automobili Lamborghini Shield emblem, along with the Dashboard Clutch and charms inspired by the Shield and the Temerario key fob.
The Campaign
To celebrate the launch, Balenciaga stores worldwide will host special activations featuring customised super sports cars, artworks, and an Apple Vision Pro app virtual experience. Lamborghini Revuelto cars with Balenciaga graffiti decals will be displayed outside flagship locations in Paris, Shanghai, New York, Miami, Tokyo, Dubai, and Seoul, each with a unique colourway.
Balenciaga flagships on Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris, Sloane Street in London, and Taikoo Hui in Shanghai will feature in-store activations of Automobili Lamborghini driving simulators by Vesaro, incorporating genuine Lamborghini components and designed in collaboration with Lamborghini Centro Stile.
