Azerbaijan Airlines Will Offer More Direct Flights To Iran

The airline announces an increase in weekly frequency to one and new direct flights to another Iranian city.

Azerbaijan’s flag carrier, Azerbaijan Airlines, has decided to increase its presence in Iran. To achieve that goal, the airline has announced direct flights to Tabriz from its home hub, Baku. This route will go live and operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays, starting June 15, 2025.

In addition, Azerbaijan Airlines is also increasing its weekly flight count on the Baku-Tehran route. The airline will now operate four weekly services between the two capitals on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Those interested in travelling to Baku, Tabriz, or Tehran can book their tickets via the carrier’s authorised channels. Azerbaijan Airlines recently increased flight frequencies on five routes.
