After launching direct flights to Tirana from its home hub, Riga, last year, airBaltic has begun flying to the Albanian capital from the other two Baltic states – Lithuania and Estonia. The first flight from Tallinn to Tirana was on June 2, 2025, whereas from Vilnius the connection went live just after midnight, i.e. early June 3, 2025.
Like the Riga-Tirana route, airBaltic will operate both new routes twice weekly, but until September 30, 2025. The airline confirms that until late October 2025, it will fly 22 direct flights from the Estonian capital to several destinations across Europe and beyond. Similarly, it will offer 16 nonstop routes from Vilnius, Lithuania, while continuing direct flights from Palanga, Lithuania, to Amsterdam, Netherlands, and Riga, Latvia.
