Serbia’s flag carrier, Air Serbia, has announced a new route – a direct connection between Belgrade and Tbilisi. Scheduled to go live on June 15, 2025, the service will operate thrice weekly. The outbound service from Serbia’s capital will fly on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Those travelling in the opposite direction with Air Serbia will board the direct service operating on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Flight JU 0890 will depart from Belgrade at 13:20 and land in Tbilisi at 18:20 on Mondays and Thursdays. On Sundays, the flight timings will be different, with the journey commencing and concluding at 07:55 and 12:55, respectively. Similarly, flight JU 0891 will depart from Georgia’s capital at 03:55 and arrive in the Serbian capital at 04:50 on Tuesdays and Fridays. The same service on Sundays will start at 14:25 and end at 15:40. All times mentioned are local.
Currently, Air Serbia passengers must make at least one stop en route to Tbilisi. With the addition of direct flights to the network, the airline will be able to offer connections to several cities across Europe and the Americas via Belgrade. The list includes Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Bologna, Zurich, Copenhagen, Krakow, Milan, Nice, Düsseldorf, Rome, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Oslo, Paris, Podgorica, Prague, Stockholm, Tivat, Valencia, Zagreb and many others.
